Most of the modifications to the RX 350 for the 2008 model year are mild – including a revised grille, and new 7-spoke wheels. The RX 350 debuted in the 2007 model year vehicle as a replacement to the RX 330, and the vehicle remains a solid candidate for buyers wanting it all: power, room, refined handling, and a few extras. This Lexus road patroller gains its power from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that provides 270 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 251 pounds-feet of torque at 4700 rpm. Sold in full-time all wheel drive or front wheel drive configurations, the SUV is a great night prowler, courtesy of its adaptive front headlamp system that swivels the left and the right headlight independently to the best position – based on vehicle speed and steering angle – as the RX 350 goes through turns and curves.

RX 350 can seat as many as five occupants comfortably. The rear seat – with a 40/20/40 split design – has reclining and sliding options. When rear seat is folded, the cargo space is more than 84 cubic feet versus about 38 cubic feet with rear seat in the upright position. The standard fare list includes power rear lift-gate, heated outside mirrors, 17-inch wheels, 10-way power adjust driver’s seat, three storage zones under the cargo floor, steering wheel audio controls, and dual-zone climate control. An optional air suspension system means automatic leveling and four height settings, including an easy-entry/exit mode that lowers the vehicle by 1.2-inches. RX 350 with 5-speed automatic transmission collects per gallon fuel numbers of 17 city/22 highway. MSRP of the five-door SUV is $38,800.
