Think of it as the spicy version of the 300. The 300S gives kick to Chrysler’s iconic four-door sedan via specific style cues, select features, and a performance-tuned suspension. Exterior-wise, the visual identifiers of the 300S include darkened headlamp bezels, a black grille with chrome surround, and 20-inch wheels spinning black painted pockets. The 300S cabin is highlighted with carbon-weave and brushed aluminum accents in various spots, including the center stack, door pulls, and gearshift knob. Front leather-trimmed seats have an embroidered 300S logo with red suede and red stitching adding visual pop. The audio arsenal is provided by the 13-speaker Kicker performance stereo system featuring a 322-watt amplifier and 100-watt subwoofer.

Chrysler’s 300 reached the market in early 2004 as a 2005 model. Available in either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive, the 300 pushes its power from one of three engines: a 2.7-liter V6 (rear wheel drive only), a 3.5-liter V6, or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that produces 360 horsepower and 389 pounds-feet of torque. For the 2010 model year, all versions of the 300 get side curtain airbags as part of the comprehensive spread of safety and security features provided as standard equipment. The rear wheel drive 300S with the HEMI V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission collects estimated mpg of 16 city/25 highway and carries a MSRP of $38,010.
