The driver is the center of attention inside the second-generation G35 sports sedan. With an all-new interior, the sedan hasn’t lost its ability to captivate. The center information zone – located between the gauges – provides a quick way to collect a variety of data, like average speed, instantaneous fuel economy, and outside temperature. One exceptionally nice feature: the entire instrument gauge unit moves when adjusting the steering wheel. The upshot of this means no matter how the steering wheel is adjusted, it won’t be at the expense of foregoing a clear view of the gauges. The hues and materials inside the vehicle are inviting. As an example, the hand-stitched steering wheel is easy on the hands because of nicely spaced stitching.

G35 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that churns out 306 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 268 pounds-feet of torque at 5200 rpm. Engine revisions provide a higher redline – now at 7600 rpm versus 6600 rpm. The engine mates to either a five-speed automatic with manual shift mode or a six-speed manual transmission. The sedan – whether in its rear wheel drive configuration or the all wheel drive version – is fitted with vehicle dynamic stability control. In addition to a comprehensive list of standard fare items, the G35 can be stocked with various options, like the $2,150 premium package that includes the Infiniti Studio on Wheels audio system by Bose. The all wheel drive G35 sedan has estimated per gallon fuel economy numbers of 19 city/25 highway and a MSRP of $33,950.
