Decked in formal attire, the Lincoln Mark LT full-size pick-up truck pours on the high-life. So for those who wish to hit the highway in style with four or five adults, the Mark LT’s swimmingly large back seat means all riders can soak up the roominess. The interior’s plush look just adds to the ride, which is decidedly marked by a strong engine: the 5.4-liter, 3-valve Triton V8 that produces 300 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 365 pounds-feet of torque at 3750 rpm. The engine mates to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Mark LT’s 45.1-foot turning circle is enhanced by power rack-and pinion steering – the largest and strongest steering system on a Lincoln to date.

Mark LT uses a coil-over-shock/double wishbone front suspension on both the 4x2 and 4x4 versions. The 4x2 configured pick-up truck – with a 5.5-foot bed – has a payload capacity of 1620 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 8900 pounds. The Mark LT’s standard equipment list includes 18-inch aluminum wheels, AM/FM/6-disc CD with MP3 sound system, heated leather front seats, overhead storage system, compass and outside temperature display as well as heavy-duty shock absorbers. There’s much to like about the Lincoln Mark LT, but the mileage per gallon count isn’t all that impressive at 14 city/18 highway. MSRP for the 4x2 Mark LT is $39,200.
