Ford Mustang’s snarl envelopes sheer driving pleasure. This rear wheel drive sports car acts and looks like a road beast, more so with the 2018 styling revisions to the front splitter, front fenders, hood, and grille. During a week-long test drive, the Mustang pushed up the pulse rate with on-demand acceleration and braking. But there’s also unexpected heart-stoppers, most notably Ford’s first application of a 12-inch LCD digital instrument cluster screen with 30 color options and display zones for up to eight gauges. The entire cabin accents finery from the seating surfaces and heated leather steering wheel option to the Premium trim’s hand stitched dashboard and center console.

Mustang is powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder releasing 310 horsepower/350 pounds-feet of torque (up from the prior model’s 320 pounds-feet torque). The Mustang GT is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 producing 460 horsepower/420 pounds-feet of torque. (The 2018 Mustang lineup no longer offers the 3.7-liter V6.) Mustang features all-LED front lights, including turn signals, available fog lamps, low- and high-beam headlamps. The 107.1-inch wheelbase Mustang coupe equipped with the EcoBoost engine and the all-new 10-speed automatic transmission has estimated mpg of 21 city/32 highway. Starting MSRP for the Mustang is $25,680.
