With your eyes closed, it’s easy to distinguish the potato-potato sound of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. With your eyes open, it’s easy to distinguish an F-150 from a Harley-Davidson F-150. The latest edition of the H-D Ford F-150 is awash in a new paint scheme of tuxedo black and a deep maroon with tri-color metal flake known as lava. (This color heats up the attraction quota, so maybe that factored into lava being the chosen name.)  There are other H-D exterior cues, including a 6 bar-shaped billet grille, Harley-Davidson chrome badges and 22-inch tires. The automatic up/down running boards are kicking cool, and these integrated side planks provide a welcome assist to entering/exiting the pickup truck.

Harley-Davidson F-150’s seats seemingly wear a H-D leather jacket. The tow-tone, leather-ribbed seatbacks feature H-D engraved button snaps, and the backsides of the front seats are fitted with map pockets that use H-D jacket zippers. Every element of the H-D edition grabs the eyes, but this truck is mighty, mighty powerful with a 5.4-liter Triton V8 engine that produces 320 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 390 lbs-feet of peak torque at 3500 rpm. (Engine mates to a 6-speed automatic transmission.) H-D package staples include rear view camera, reverse sensing system, adjustable brake and accelerator pedals as well as 3.73 ratio limited slip axle. Estimated mpg is 14 city and 18 highway. MSRP of the 4x4 Harley-Davidson F-150 Lariat is $45,835.
