The British monarchy endorses Autoglym car care products. Add my Dad to the Autoglym fan list. His favorite product is the High Definition Wax. Four years of research and development helped perfect a formula that includes polymers, Carnauba and microcrystalline waxes as well as oils. Dad used the wax on one of his most adored vehicles, a 1983 Dodge Rampage. His bottom line verdict: the easy to apply and remove wax left a silky-smooth finish and the best shine since the compact pick-up truck came off the assembly line 27 years ago. Autoglym’s High Definition Wax kit (including wax, two applicators and a specially developed mircrofiber cloth) carries an MSRP of $49.99.

Autoglym’s Super Resin Polish (MSRP $14.99) also received Dad’s highest approval. As an avid user of auto care products for decades, he really liked how this spray-on product easily removed tar spots from the paintwork. Super Resin Polish’s emulsifiers and conditioners also helped bring the luster back to the Rampage’s original paint. Autoglym’s Rapid Detailer (MSRP $13.49) quickly elicited a high-gloss finish. The Custom Wheel Cleaner (MSRP $8.49) from the British company also was favored. Three Autoglym products (Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, Vinyl & Rubber Care, and Instant Tyre Dressing) handled cleaning tasks well, but did not perform better than competitors’ products. Established in 1965, Autoglym is exported to the U.S. and more than 40 other countries.
